On Friday, 6 November 2026, Julie Ouerfelli-Éthier, Ole Hall, and Martin bring eye tracking to the Humboldt-Bibliothek in Berlin-Reinickendorf (Karolinenstr. 19) as part of Berlin Science Week. Between 13:00 and 18:00, visitors can try an eye tracker themselves. Short presentations and live demonstrations show how vision, attention, and behaviour work together, and what our eye movements reveal about the brain. Julie and Ole work together on a project in the Cluster of Excellence Science of Intelligence.
The afternoon, “Auf Blickfang: Verstehen, wie unsere Augen die Welt erkunden”, is organised by Science of Intelligence and Wissen zwischen Büchern, together with Berlin Science Week and Berlin’s public libraries. It is held in German and is suitable from age 8. Entry is free and you don’t need to register, so drop by whenever it suits you.
