Summer school in Neuroscience

The summer school in Neuroscience ended last Friday. Among 230 applicants, thirty students with different backgrounds came from all over Europe and beyond attended lectures and workshops in Pisa. The summer school was offered for Master’s degree students who were interested in delving into the complexity of the human mind and brain under the guidance of renowned European specialists.

The Summer School was an initiative of Circle U. – the European University Alliance that has brought together nine universities: Aarhus, Belgrade, Berlin, Louvain, Oslo, Paris Cité, Pisa, Vienna, and King’s College London. It was jointly organized by the University of Pisa, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, UCLouvain, and Aarhus University.

Our cluster of excellence Science of Intelligence generously funded 12 travel grants to cover students’ travel expenses.
